The Invasion of Iraq

In a previous post I stated that wars can be for personal interest. In my opinion, I think that The United States of America invaded Iraq to get oil, and not disarm any WMDs (weapons of mass destruction). According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_invasion_of_Iraq, they state that Tony Blair and George W Bush, former president of the U.S, said that they foiled Sadam Hussain and took away the WMDs. However, US government spokespeople confirmed that the weapons that they showed were not from Iraq. In 2005 the CIA said that they found absolutely no WMDs in Iraq. There have also been claims that the U.S made the supposed "WMDs" in Iraq up just to make an excuse to steal oil from Iraq. Even the United Nations did not approve of this war.
Oh yeah, war can be for a country's personal interest. Definitely. It could be an excuse. It just happened a few years ago.
